ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Checkout Team India’s Updated Squad And Their ODI Stats. The Board of Control for Cricket in India announces a 15-member squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will take place from February 19 in Pakistan. Because of injuries suffered recently under captain Rohit Sharma, some strong changes have been made in the team.
Star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the tournament due to a lower back injury. Bumrah suffered back spasms while playing in the final Test against Australia in Sydney last month. In Bumrah’s absence, selectors named Harshit Rana as his replacement. Rana also showed some form of promise after taking four wickets in his two ODIs against England in early April. Varun Chakaravarthy replaced batter Yashasvi Jaiswal and had splendid performances in a recent T20 series against England.

Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma (c), Shubman Gill (vc), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Harshit Rana, and Varun Chakaravarthy.
India is in Group A alongside Bangladesh, Pakistan, and New Zealand. The team will open its campaign against Bangladesh in Dubai on February 20.
