Lionel Messi was at his best for Argentina scoring three goals against Bolivia for the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. His latest achievement puts him squarely with Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

Messi, 37, scored the first goal for Argentina just 19 minutes into the match, and the second and third goals came just two minutes apart before the final whistle. This was the star footballer’s first appearance for team Argentina for nearly a year. He was at his best

Julian Alvarez scored with a free-kick assist from Messi. And Thiago Almada assisted La Albiceleste for another shot in the 70th minute. It was an incredible match dominated by Argentina.
