As we all know, France are the defending champions in FIFA World Cup 2022, having won the previous edition of the tournament four years ago in 2018 which was held in Russia. To be honest, France has an even better squad this season as compared to last time and they are one of the absolute favourites to win the competition this year. Just recently, they won the Nations League last year and it shows how much of a tremendous form they are actually in.

On the other hand, Germany did not have a very memorable campaign in FIFA World Cup 2018. The winners of the 2014 Brazil World Cup got eliminated from the group stages after a shocking turn of events in the 2018 World Cup and they will look to undo the damages from the previous edition of the World Cup, this season. 

If we compare both the teams, there is no doubt in the fact that France are a tad better than Germany in terms of Squad strength and current form.
