The UEFA EURO 2024, which kicks off on June 14 in Germany, will be a star-studded tournament with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham, among others. 24 European teams are vying for the UEFA EURO Cup 2024 against reigning champion Italy who won in 2021.

The maximum squad size of the teams participating in UEFA EURO 2024 was increase on May 3 from 23 to 26 players. The decision was made following the COVID-19 pandemic for the participating teams as a cautionary measure.

How Much Money Do Teams and Players Get at UEFA EURO CUP 2024?
There’s no fixed amount or remuneration or compensation involved for taking part in the UEFA EURO Cup 2024. Plus, the federations doesn’t give a salary to the players. But they do receive money for playing in the tournament.
According to sources, the squad members of the participating teams much reach an agreement with their respective federations to be paid for playing. There are two types of payments – per diems and bonuses, whereby the per diems are paid as per the number of days the player spends away from home in training, and bonuses are purely based on the player’s performances.
The winning team gets 400,000 euros.

- 1 million euros for a win and 500,000 euros for a draw (match bonus)
- 1.5 million euros for qualifying the round of 16
- 2.5 million euros for qualifying the quarterfinals

- 5 million euros for the final (the team that loses gets this amount)
- 8 million euros to the champion.
The UEFA EURO CUP 2024 champion takes home around 28.25 million euros.
