The competition will contain ten teams split into two groups that will engage in round-robin matches, thus making five teams per category. The semi-final spots will go to teams finishing first or second in their respective categories.

Competition Format
In group stages, round-robin action applies where only two top teams move forward from the entire group setup. Ultimately, they meet at the final, fight for the trophy, and must win the semi-finals first before reaching the finals.

Winning Teams
Australia: Defenders of the title with six trophies (2010, 2012, 2014, 2018, 2020, 2023). They are after their seventh trophy.
England: The first champions in 2009, they want to reclaim a title that has eluded them for years after running close second places.
West Indies: They won their first Women’s T20 World Cup in India in 2016.
