Shreyas Iyer was given the captaincy of Delhi Daredevils after Gautam Gambhir resigned citing poor performance. 27 April 2018 was a big day for Shreyas Iyer as he became the youngest captain ever to lead the Delhi Daredevils team in the IPL history at the age of just 23 years during the match against KKR.
His IPL captaincy debut was a match to cherish for him as he smashed an unbeaten knock of 93 runs of just 40 deliveries which included 10 massive sixes.
