IPL 2023: Can Virat Kohli And Faf du Plessis Lead RCB Into The Playoffs? Royal Challengers Bangalore has one of the huge fanbases in the Indian Premier League. Unfortunately, this team is waiting for its first IPL title. RCB won their first match of this season against Mumbai Indians (MI) by eight wickets but lost their next two games against CSK and KKR. Royal has played six matches this season so far, in which they won 3 matches and lost three matches.
Last season RCB qualify for the playoff but they lost to Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals in a close game.
Virat Kohli and RCB skipper Faf du Plessis are in excellent form this season. Both of them are helping RCB win matches against tough teams. Faf du Plessis holds an IPL 2023 orange cap, and Mohammed Siraj holds a Purple Cap.
The Key Players of RCB are in very good form and continuously help RCB win matches. The team looks balanced this year and they have experienced run machine openers, power hitters, spinners, and quality fast bowlers. Faf du Plessis has experience as a captain in more than 200 International matches, which may help RCB to qualify this year.
RCB batting depends on Virat, Faf And Maxwell
Some concerning points for RCB are their middle-order batters’ performance in recent matches. None of them played any good innings this season so far. Dinesh Karthik made headlines last year with their Midas finishing innings, but his batting is a major concern for RCB this season.

Some good options for the middle order are Micheal Bracwell, Mahipal Lomror, and David Willey are some good options for the middle order. But apart from these three players other team members’ performance is also a concern for RCB this season.
What RCB needs to get into the Playoffs?
RCB needs to win at least five matches out of nine. If RCB manage to win eight games in the league stage of IPL 2023 , then they can easily qualify for playoffs. If they win seven matches, the Net run rate becomes important for RCB to qualify for the playoffs.
This Season, It will be tough for the teams to come into the Top 4 so that they get qualified for the IPL 2023 Playoffs.
