IPL 2024: Points Table, Most Runs And Most Wickets (Updated) After CSK vs SRH Match. The 46th match of Indian Premier League 2024 was played between Chennai Super Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad at Chennai’s home ground MA Chidambaram Stadium. Ruturaj Gaikwad and company defeated SRH by 78 runs and registered their fifth win of this season.
This evening Pat Cummins won the toss and chose to bowl first. Chennai scored 212 runs for three wickets in 20 overs. Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad played a brilliant inning of 98 runs in just 54 balls with the help of ten fours and three sixes. Ruturaj was adjudged player of the match
Chasing 212 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad was unable to play even the full 20 overs, the team was all out for 134 runs in 18.5 overs. Aiden Markram top scored for SRH, scoring 32 runs in 26 balls.
In the bowling department, Tushar Deshpande took four wickets for Chennai, dismissing all the top-order batsmen of Hyderabad. He laid the foundation of CSK’s victory by dismissing Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Anmolpreet Singh. Mustafizur Rahman and Matheesha Pathirana got 2 wickets each while Jadeja and Shardul Thakur got one wicket each.
