IPL 2025: 5 Players Punjab Kings May Retain Ahead Of Auction: Punjab Kings finished in 9th in IPL 2024 season. Despite some bright moments here and there, they were not able to find consistency, which deprived them of reaching the playoffs once again. Aiming at rebuilding their squad ahead of IPL 2025, PBKS are likely going to hold onto the most productive players from last season’s campaign, as it showed signs he might have more important roles to play ahead. Here are five players who might be retained by PBKS:
 

1. Sam Curran

In IPL 2024, Sam Curran stood out as one performer among others for Punjab Kings (PBKS). He made 270 runs from the top order on an average of 27 runs-a-ball even though they were crucial innings during middle overs that played a countable role in this highly acclaimed record; in addition to these statistics, his strike rate too was 123.29, which needed attention in the IPL next season.
