ODI World Cup 2023: Teams, Captains, Schedule (Updated), Venues, And Live Streaming Details. The 2023 ODI World Cup will start on October 5, 2023. The tournament is being held in India across ten venues. India has co-hosted the World Cup before but this is the first time that they will be hosting the mega event alone and it is thus a big moment for the nation and BCCI. A total of 10 teams will be taking part in the 2023 ODI World Cup and a total of 48 matches will be played in it, including the knockout stages, which will follow the group stage matches. All 10 teams will be playing against each other in a round-robin format, following which the top 4 teams will qualify for the knockout stages.
India and Australia will face each other in their first match on Oct 8 at Chennai from 2:00 PM (IST). Arch-rivals India & Pakistan match is scheduled to take place on Oct 15 at Ahmedabad.
