After Kohli And Rohit Sharma Ravindra Jadeja Also Announces Retirement From T20Is. On Sunday, India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja revealed he is retiring from T20 internationals. The news came a day after Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma announced retirement after India’s T20 World Cup win in Barbados. Jadeja, who had been below his best, struggled to be a regular in this tournament and only occasionally delivered the performances identified with the seasoned wantaway. He took to Instagram to post a moving photo in memoriam of his departure from the twenty-over one-day game.

“On behalf of my heart, I express my gratitude as I bid to T20 internationals. I’ve given my all for my country, much like a steadfast horse galloping with pride, and will persist in other formats. Winning the T20 World Cup was a dream come true and the zenith of my T20 International journey. I cherish the memories, the cheers, and the unwavering support. Jai Hind! Ravindra Singh Jadeja and Retirement,” he captioned an Instagram post.

Renowned for his exceptional fielding skills, Ravindra Jadeja announced that he will continue playing ODIs and Tests. Since making his T20I debut against Sri Lanka in 2009, Jadeja has appeared in 74 matches, scoring 515 runs and claiming 54 wickets. In the T20 World Cup final in Barbados on Saturday, India defeated South Africa by seven runs to claim their second title in the tournament’s history.
