An Asian Cricket Council (ACC) board member has denied rumours that the Asia Cup will be postponed or cancelled. According to a rumour in Pakistani media, The Asia Cup might be relocated if PCB refuses to agree to play matches at a neutral site. However, On May 1, ACC officials stated that no such proposal had been forwarded to the member countries.
A member of the ACC Board who was privy to discussions taking place outside of an ICC meeting in Dubai told PTI. He went on to say that if something like this happened, PCB would be the first to know because they are the host. Also, there has been no official word from Jay Shah, President of ACC.
