BCCI Announce Suryakumar Yadav-Led India Squad For T20I Series Against England. The BCCI has announced a full-strength 15-member squad for the upcoming five-match T20 International series against England that kicks off on January 22, 2025, in Kolkata.

Suryakumar Yadav (C), Sanju Samson (wk), Dhruv Jurel (wk), Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Axar Patel (vc), Hardik Pandya, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Varun Chakaravarthy, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohammad Shami, Washington Sundar.
Suryakumar Yadav known for aggressive batting and inventive stroke play, will captain the side. While all-rounder Axar Patel serves as vice-captain. This series is a period for senior players like Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Rishabh Pant to recuperate from tiring physical activities. Young talents like Nitish Kumar Reddy and Dhruv Jurel are all included in the squad. Thus, proving that there is more stress on selecting the next generation of cricketers.
With Bumrah and Siraj’s absence in the pace department, the spearheads will be Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep Singh with experience and youth, while the spin department will include Varun Chakravarthy and Ravi Bishnoi who are known to be takers in the shortest format.
