BCCI Announces Squad For T20I Series Against South Africa And Border-Gavaskar Trophy: BCCI named the teams for India’s T20I series vs South Africa and the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series with Australia, the latter of which will be vital in the preparations for the 2025 ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 final. Let’s now delve deeper into the two teams and the importance of the forthcoming tours.
India Squad vs South Africa T20I
India has opted for a slightly young side with an emphasis on depth in the limited-overs format as they prepare for the four-match T20I series in South Africa, which commences on November 8. Also in a more experienced team, fast bowlers Vyshak Vijaykumar and Ramandeep Singh have been given a call-up, while the more controversial selection of Mayank Yadav has been ruled out for injury reasons.
With players such as Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, and Shubman Gill in the batting department and spinners Ravi Bishnoi and Axar Patel in the bowling department, the team also has good batting and bowling strength, respectively.
