Suryakumar Yadav has been appointed as the captain of the Indian team for the T20I series against Sri Lanka, with Shubman Gill serving as his deputy for the three-match series. In the ODI squad, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been included, with Sharma captaining the side and Gill named as the vice-captain. Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for the series.

IND vs SL T20I and ODI Series Schedule
The first T20I between India and Sri Lanka was held on July 27, followed by the remaining two T20 games on July 28 and July 30, with all matches played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. The ODIs, initially scheduled to start on August 1, began on August 2, followed by the remaining matches on August 4 and August 7, with all games held at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
