As per the reports, Mustafizur Rahman has embarked on a journey to Bangladesh to complete the necessary formalities for his US visa. His biometric process is slated for April 4, marking a crucial step in securing his visa. The Bangladesh Cricket Board has given top priority to Rahman’s visa application, fast-tracking it for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, scheduled to take place in the USA and the Caribbean.

The 28-year-old fast bowler will be absent from Chennai Super Kings’ forthcoming clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 5 as he attends to his visa procedures in Bangladesh. Rahman’s availability for future matches hinges on the timely receipt of his passport, anticipated by Sunday or Monday.
However, should there be any additional delays, Rahman might also sit out of the Super Kings’ subsequent fixture against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Monday, April 8.
