Indian Players At CPL 2023
Ambati Rayudu, a former Indian wicketkeeper batter, is slated to participate in the CPL 2023 season, which begins on August 16. Rayudu has been signed as a marquee player by the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots for the next season.
Rayudu’s participation is contingent on the BCCI, according to ESPNCricinfo. The board has discussed instituting a one-year cooling-off period for former Indian cricketers before they compete in abroad competitions.
2 Other Indian players will compete in the CPL 2023. Sunny Sohal, a former India U-19 cricketer, went to the United States a few years ago. Sohal played in the IPL for the Punjab Kings, Deccan Chargers, and Royal Challengers Bangalore before retiring from Indian cricket.
Smit Patel is another former India U-19 player on the list. He was a member of the Indian team that won the U-19 World Cup in Australia in 2012. Patel even played for India at the U-23 level.
