CWC Qualifier 2023: Details, Format, Groups, Dates, Venue, Schedule and Broadcasting Details For India: After 12 years, the World Cup returns to India, as does the hope of every Indian. ODI World Cup 2023 will be held in October and November, and a total of 48 matches will be played.
Eight teams have already qualified for the event, with the remaining teams hoping to qualify through the Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023, which will be played between the remaining teams to cash in their last chance to represent themselves in the Prestigious ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 . The Qualifying tournament started from June 18th, 2023 and Zimbabwe is hosting the event.
The 34-ODI matches will be played by ten countries, including Zimbabwe, the West Indies, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Nepal, the Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, the UAE, and the United States. The top two teams will go to the main tournament in India in October-November.
CWC 2023 Qualifier Format
The ten teams will be divided into two groups of five and will compete in a round-robin style. The top three teams in each group will then advance to the super six round, where they will face teams from the opposing group.
The best teams will qualify for the World Cup in India, as well as a trophy final, but the outcome will not impact the team’s qualifying.

CWC Qualifier Dates
The crucial Cricket World Cup Qualifier will take place in Zimbabwe from June 18 to July 9. By June 27, the group stage matches will be completed, and the top three teams from each group will proceed to the Super Six round. The Super Six stage will take place between June 29 and July 7.
The top two teams will subsequently participate on July 9 in the CWC Qualifier Final. These two sides will also be guaranteed a place in the Cricket World Cup, which will be hosted later this year in India. In addition, from June 30 to July 6, a playoff series will be contested to decide the rankings from seventh to tenth place in the Cricket World Cup Qualifier.
CWC Qualifier 2023 Venue
Zimbabwe is hosting the competition, which spans two towns and four venues. Harare Sports Club and Takashinga Cricket Club in Zimbabwe’s city of Harare have been chosen as the host stadiums. Meanwhile, Queens Sports Club and Bulawayo Athletic Club will hold matches in the city of Bulawayo.
While the first two Group A matches will be played in Harare on the first day of the competition, all Group B league matches will be played in Bulawayo beginning Monday.

CWC Qualifier Broadcasting Details In India
Star Sports Network will broadcast the Cricket World Cup Qualifier for Indian consumers, as it did during the previous global championship, the ICC World Test Championship 2021-2023 final.
Because Star does not currently host any other international matches, this competition will be shown live on Star Sports 1/1 HD. Readers should be aware that there will be no Hindi commentary for this tournament.
