R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo – Pitch Report
The R. Premadasa Stadium’s pitch has frequently been flat and true, providing the batsmen with good bounce and pace for their shots. The true bounce makes it possible to make strokes, which promotes high-scoring games. The stadium’s outfield is typically fast, which helps the batsmen score runs more quickly. The fence can be more frequently targeted by batsmen when boundaries are relatively short.
