England Squad For T20I and ODI Series vs Australia: The England cricket team has revealed their rosters for the upcoming ODI and T20I series against Australia, scheduled to take place on September 11, 2024. In light of the forthcoming championships and T20 world tournaments, this series is incredibly important, with three T20Is preceding five ODIs.

ODI Squad of England:

Jos Buttler (c), Jofra Archer, Gus Atkinson, Jacob Bethell, Harry Brook, Jamie Smith, Brydon Carse, Ben Duckett, Josh Hull, Will Jacks, Matthew Potts, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Reece Topley, and John Turner

England has chosen an ODI squad composed of seasoned and new players. Jos Buttler’s leadership as some of its key individuals remain in place. One striking aspect is that Jofra Archer returns to participate in ODIs, which will also enhance the potency of England’s bowling department by providing it with extra muscle power.

Jacob Bethell and Josh Hull are making their debuts for England. Joe Root, despite having a great record in ODIs and performing consistently, has not been included in the ODI series.

T20I Squad:

Jos Buttler (c), Jofra Archer, Jacob Bethell, Brydon Carse, Jordan Cox, Sam Curran, Josh Hull, Will Jacks, Dan Mousley, Liam Livingstone, Saqib Mahmood, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Reece Topley, and John Turner

Dawid Malan, who is known for his steady T20I statistics, was excluded along with Moeen Ali. The bowling department will allow Reece Topley and Adil Rashid to play a vital role in England’s plans for limited overs. This series against Australia is very important for England because it serves as a final touch-up before the World Cup. Their objective is to dominate white-ball cricket through experienced bases alongside new talents.

The first T20I will be held on the 11th of September at the Ageas Bowl, while others will take place at Sofia Garden and Old Trafford thereafter. On September 19, the ODI series will kick off, with the last match scheduled for October 1 at Trent Bridge.
