From Joe Root To Yashasvi Jaiswal, List Of Top 5 Leading Run Scorers In WTC 2023-25. The World Test Championship (WTC) for 2023-2025 is presently taking place, with several teams facing each other all over the world. In this edition of the WTC that started in June 2023, there are nine different participating teams convening for two years to try and qualify for the final at Lord’s in June 2025. In this WTC (World Test Championship) cycle, some players are consistently scoring runs for their team.

Top Five Run-Scorers in WTC 2023-2025:

1. Joe Root (England):

Currently Root is the top run scorer in WTC 2023–2025. He has played 15 matches and scored 1,373 runs at an average of 57.20 throughout these games. Root also has five hundred and six fifties, laying claim to his highest score being 143 runs recorded under crisis and, where their perspective counts heavily. In the recently concluded series against Sri Lanka, he scored his 34th test century, becoming the highest run scorer for England in test cricket.

2. Yashasvi Jaiswal (India):

In the current WTC cycle, Jaiswal is the highest run scorer of India. He has scored a remarkable 1,028 runs in nine matches at an average of 68.53. The total number of runs he made consists of three centuries, one of which is 214*, demonstrating his capability to make lengthy innings. For India to qualify for the final round of the WTC, Jaiswal’s consistency has been essential.

3. Zak Crawley (England):

In 13 games played, Crawley has accumulated as many as 984 runs with an average of 42.78, which includes one hundred and seven fifty plus scores due to his fast mode of play and his highest score being 189. 

4. Usman Khawaja (Australia):

Khawaja is the highest run scorer for Australia. He has scored 943 runs in 12 matches, with one hundred and five half-centuries at an average rating of 41.00, with the highest score of 141. Khawaja’s expertise and imprisoned approach have been extremely useful throughout Australia’s journey to this point in the WTC.

5. Ben Duckett (England):

Duckett’s aggressive batting has produced 935 runs in 15 matches, with a batting average of 34.62. His highest score so far is 153, and he has a century to his name, which indicates that he can play significant innings. He is still in form, scoring runs for England.
