ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Team India to Depart for Dubai on February 15: The Indian national cricket team will fly to Dubai on February 15, 2025, to play in the ICC Champions Trophy. This was decided because of India’s choice to play its matches at a neutral venue. Since the tournament was to be hosted in Pakistan. The Champions Trophy will begin on February 19, 2025. Eight teams are competing in 15 matches across Pakistan and the UAE. The fixtures for India during the group stage are:
February 20: India vs. Bangladesh in Dubai
February 23: India vs. Pakistan in Dubai
March 2: India vs. New Zealand in Dubai
India will not play Warm-up Matches ahead of ICC Champions Trophy 2025
India will not play any warm-up matches in the customary sense before the tournament because of a tight schedule and logistical hassles that will see many potential warm-up opponents busy with matches in Pakistan. On their arrival in Dubai, the team will undertake intensive net sessions to groom the players for the conditions.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is to stage a media press conference before they leave. It will be an opportunity for Captain Rohit Sharma and the coach to discuss the strategy for the team.
