ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Teams, Format, Venues, Schedule, Results, Man Of The Match, Streaming Details: The Champions Trophy 2025 started on February 19 with the clash between Pakistan and New Zealand. Co-hosted by Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), this edition is meant to bring action alive between eight of the most exciting One Day International (ODI) teams in the world.

Participating Teams and Groups

There are going to be two groups comprising eight teams for the tournament:

Group A: Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, Pakistan

Group B: Afghanistan, Australia, England, South Africa

Champions Trophy 2025 Format

Every team will meet with the other teams in its group once, and then the best two teams from each group will come forward to the semi-final round. The final match is scheduled for March 9. However, owing to security threats, all the matches for India will take place in Dubai irrespective of the teams they play against.

Venues

The same four stadiums will host matches within them:

Pakistan: National Stadium, Karachi; Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore; Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi

UAE: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai

The finals are at Gaddafi Stadium but will be elsewhere if India makes it to the finals.

Prize Money of ICC Champions Trophy 2025

There is a total prize pool of $6.9 million for the tournament, which is distributed as follows:

Winners: $2.24 million
Runners-up: $1.12 million
Losing semi-finalists: $560,000 each
Group Stage Wins: More than $34,000 earned for each victory.
