IND vs AUS 2nd Test, Day 2 Highlights: Travis Head Scored 140, India Trails By 29 Runs: Adelaide Oval on day 2 of the second Test between India and Australia had local boys making a strong move. Australia, resuming its innings from 86/1 during the day, posted a mammoth total of 337/10 at the end of the innings. Travis Head scored 140 runs, and Labuschagne added an invaluable 64 runs. On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj did well for India’s bowling department, each claiming four wickets.

So far, the knock of Travis Head, 140 off 141 balls, punctuated the Australian innings with 17 fours and 4 sixes. For 64 runs from 126 balls, Marnus Labuschagne chipped in solidly. His innings included 9 fours.

Indian Batters Struggles on Day 2 of IND vs AUS 2nd Test

India’s batting lineup continued to struggle, the openers going cheaply for an end total after Day 2 as they trailed by 29 runs with five wickets lost. Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul were the openers for India, but both failed to make a huge impact. Jaiswal managed to score 24 runs off 31 balls while Gill got a score of 28 runs off 30 balls. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul were both dismissed cheaply with scores of 6 and 7 runs, respectively, by the Australian skipper, Pat Cummins. At the end of the day, Rishabh Pant and Nitish Kumar Reddy are standing at the crease.
