Australia’s bowlers were helpless against India’s aggressive batting, and their chase was never on track, as they fell short by 44 runs.
In the Guwahati showdown, India extended their unyielding pursuit of victory. Setting a target of 222 runs while showcasing an impressive century by Ruturaj Gayakwad, India batted first. Big Show (Glenn Maxwell) performance led to them chasing the score. Granting Australia their first victory.
