IND vs ENG 4th Test: Team India Beat England By 5 Wickets In Ranchi, Seal Series. Team India under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma beat Ben Stokes-led England cricket team by 5 wickets at Ranchi and sealed the 5-match test series by 3-1. Shubman Gill and Dhruv Jurel lead team India’s chase after they lost two early wickets of Ravindra Jadeja and Sarfaraz Khan post lunch.
Skipper Rohit Sharma’s valuable half-century put Men In Blue in the driver’s seat in a 192-run chase against England in the 4th test. However, two quick wickets for the English team have pegged back the chase.
India scored 40 runs and was 152 runs away from victory overnight — and taking an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match-Test series against England. After bowling out the guest for 145 runs in their second innings, thanks to Ravichandran Ashwin’s fifer and Kuldeep Yadav’s four wickets.
