In the second ODI between India Women and South Africa Women, India batted first and scored a strong total of 325 runs. Smriti Mandhana scored 136 runs, her second century in two matches. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur also impressed with a superb century, adding 103 runs.
Their solid partnership helped India recover from early wickets and set a competitive score. However, on the bowling side, South Africa’s Nonkululeko Mlaba was notable, taking 2 wickets for 51 runs, and putting pressure on the Indian batters throughout the innings.

Those shots went up in the air and even after a heroic run by Laura Wolvaardt, who made 135 runs and Marizanne Kapp’s 114 runs, South Africa still ended up doing a few runs short of the target and India won the match by 4 runs.
