New Zealand vs Pakistan Match highlights
New Zealand’s last group stage match was of particular importance as they had to win it to go through. Having batted first, the Kiwis managed to set a below-par target of 110-6, with Suzie Bates scoring the highest at 28 runs. Pakistan came into the match chasing 110 runs; however, the innings began shakily as the team lost quick wickets.
Muneeba Ali (15) and Sadaf Shamas (2) went out cheaply. Although Pakistan had fixed their qualifying target within 10.4 overs, the team could not achieve the target due to the tame and well-disciplined bowling by New Zealand, which in turn ensured their qualification and eliminated both Pakistan and India.
