India Women’s updated schedule for T20 World Cup 2024 In UAE: The schedule for women’s cricket in India for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 has been revised and finalised. Originally meant for Bangladesh, the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup has been moved to the UAE due to political turmoil and the prevailing security issues.
India finds itself in Group A with Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. They will thus commence their campaign on October 4, when they face New Zealand in Dubai. Their clash with traditional rivals Pakistan has, however, been put off until October 6 in Dubai. The last group stage matches for them include a meeting with Sri Lanka on October 9th and Australia on October 13th.

Two venues will host this World Cup—Dubai and Sharjah; all roads lead to its finals, which are scheduled for October 20th. The best two from each pool will progress to semi-finals set for October 17th and 18th, respectively.
This World Cup is of great importance because it will serve as the first large ICC event held in the UAE since the men’s T20 world cup in 2021. After it was moved to a neutral place, everyone is curious about how teams adapt to conditions in the Middle East.
