IPL 2023 Auction: 405 Cricketers Set To Go Under The Hammer. BCCI on Tuesday announced the final list of cricketers who will go under the hammer during the IPL 2023 mini-auction in Kochi on December 23. A total of 405 players will be the part of mini-auction. Initially, the player’s list was 991. Out of 405, 273 are Indians and 132 are overseas players. Four overseas players are from associate nations.
The total number of capped players is 119 who will be part of the auction, while uncapped players are 282, and 4 are from associate nations. 87 slots are available with up to 30 being reserved for overseas players. 2 crore is the highest reserve price with 19 overseas players choosing to be slotted in this bracket.
The remaining auction pool for all 10 franchises is INR 206.5 crore. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has the highest auction purse of Rs 42.25 crore, while Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has the lowest with Rs 7.05 crore remaining.

Cameroon Green from Australia, Ben Stokes, Sam Curran, Harry Brook from England, and South African Rilee Rossouw are among the star cricketers who will be the part of mini-auction. 2 crore is the highest reserve price and 19 overseas players chosen in this highest bracket. 11 cricketers are in the 1.5 crore base price bracket.
The TATA IPL 2023 mini-auction will start at 02.30 PM IST.
