IPL 2024 Auction: Full List of 214 Registered Indian Players With Their Base Price. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has unveiled the comprehensive roster of players set to be auctioned in the IPL 2024 on December 19 in Dubai. In the upcoming mini-auction, there are a total of 333 players, with 214 being Indian, 119 hailing from overseas, and the remaining two representing associate countries. Among these players, 116 are capped cricketers, while 215 are uncapped, making for an intriguing mix of talent available for acquisition next Tuesday.
A sum of 23 players positioned themselves in the highest price category of Rs 2 crore for the IPL 2024 auction. Notably, England’s Harry Brook, Chris Woakes, Jamie Overton, Ben Duckett, and Adil Rashid secured positions in the top tier, despite their team’s recent struggles in white-ball cricket. It is noteworthy that only three Indian players have chosen to place themselves in the Rs 2 crore price bracket.
A total of 70 slots are up for grabs among the 10 IPL franchises, with 30 reserved for overseas players. Kolkata Knight Riders, having secured the title twice, face the task of filling the most slots (12). Meanwhile, the 2022 champions, Gujarat Titans, enter the auction with the largest purse, boasting a budget of 38.15 crores.

The IPL 2024 Auction will feature a diverse pool of players from various cricketing nations. India leads the pack with 214 players, showcasing a strong representation from the host country. England follows with 25 players, while Australia and South Africa contribute 21 and 18 players, respectively.
West Indies and New Zealand are well-represented with 16 and 14 players, respectively. However, Afghanistan adds 10 players to the mix, demonstrating the global reach of the tournament.
