Once the team submits their lists of retained and released players for the upcoming event, the determination of the team’s ultimate purse value will occur.
The selection of Hugh Edmeades as the auctioneer for the IPL 2024 auction is under consideration. Since 2008, Edmeades, a distinguished cricket auctioneer, has been associated with IPL auctions, earning recognition for his wit and proficiency in maintaining a swift pace during the proceedings. Additionally, Edmeades holds respect as a cricket commentator and broadcaster.
