Md Shami is currently under observation by the BCCI medical team and will not be part of the upcoming 17th season of Indian Premier League.”

Regarding Prasidh Krishna, the board stated, “The fast bowler had surgery on February 23rd, 2024, for his left proximal quadriceps tendon. Currently, the BCCI Medical Team is monitoring him, and he will start rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy soon. He won’t be able to participate in the upcoming TATA IPL 2024.”
