IPL 2024 Mini Auction Likely To Be Held On December 19th In Dubai. The Indian Premier League 2024 player auction is expected to take place on December 19, possibly in Dubai. All 10 franchises are required to submit their lists of retained and released players by November 15, and the auction pool will be disclosed in the first week of December.
Even though the franchises assert that they haven’t received official communication from the BCCI regarding the mini-auction date, they have received informal indications about a potential window between December 15 and 20. Last year, the BCCI had initially considered holding the auction in Istanbul, but ultimately, it took place in Kochi. Sources within the Board suggested that various venue options, including Dubai, are being explored for the upcoming auction.
Various franchises including RCB, MI, CSK, DC, RR, PBKS, KKR, LR, and GT are ready to announce their released and retained players for IPL 2024. Following this, in the upcoming IPL Auction 2024, which is set to be disclosed soon, other franchises will engage in bidding for the released players at the specified venue.
