IPL 2025: Zaheer Khan Appointed As The Mentor Of LSG. LSG has appointed Zaheer Khan as their mentor for IPL 2025. Zaheer was the mentor of the Mumbai Indians from 2018–2022. He inherits this mentoring position from Gautam Gambhir, who was mentoring for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and serves as coach of the Indian national team since he departed LSG in 2023.
Now is a favourable time for LSG to appoint Zaheer Khan as mentor because they want to be among the best franchises in the IPL. Moreover, having a strong coaching staff consisting of head coach Justin Langer and assistant coach Lance Klusener, along with consultant Adam Voges, adds another dimension of expertise and experience to the team.
