PSL 2024 Trade: Naseem Shah Moves To Islamabad United, Mohammad Wasim Jr., and Abrar Ahmed Join Quetta Gladiators. The off-season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has seen a flurry of activity, marked by trades and new coaching staff appointments across the franchises.
In the league’s operations, trades and acquisitions play a crucial role, injecting excitement into the proceedings. These strategic moves enable franchises to streamline their squads by either shedding underutilized players or acquiring specific talent needed to enhance squad balance. This dynamic process proves advantageous for both the franchises and players, offering an opportunity for the latter to secure more game time with their new teams.
Quetta has acquired Islamabad’s initial-round Platinum pick, while Islamabad has secured Quetta’s third-round Platinum pick in the exchange. Amidst strong speculation suggesting that Naseem might join Multan Sultans, who recently secured Iftikhar Ahmed in a separate swap deal, or Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad emerged victorious in the competition to secure the pacer’s signature.
