PSL 2024 Draft: Date, Venue Abd 485 International Players Registered For HBL PSL Player Draft 2024. 485 players from 22 nations have enrolled for the HBL PSL 2024 Draft, which is scheduled on December 13 at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. The Platinum category comprises 46 players, and the Diamond category includes 76 participants.
England’s Dawid Malan and South Africa’s Reeza Hendricks, both ranked in the top 10 of the ICC Men’s T20I player rankings for batters, enhance the foreign players’ lineup. Additionally, Rilee Rossouw, the 5th-ranked T20I batter, was recently traded to Quetta Gladiators from Multan Sultans.
Sri Lanka’s spinner Maheesh Theekshana, Afghanistan’s Fazalhaq Farooqi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman, and West Indies’ left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein—all positioned among the top 10 T20I bowlers—have declared their availability for the draft. Additionally, the draft includes World No. 2 T20I all-rounder Mohammad Nabi.
England leads with the highest number of players registering for the PSL player draft at 158, followed by West Indies (58), Sri Lanka (40), Afghanistan (36), South Africa (30), Bangladesh (21), New Zealand (18), Australia (16), Zimbabwe (11), and Ireland (nine) among full member countries. Additionally, a significant number of players from associate member countries have also registered.
