Rajat Patidar Appointed RCB Captain For IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) named Rajat Patidar as the new captain for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The official announcement was made in Bangalore during a ceremony on February 13, 2025, in Star Sports. The ceremony was awarded to Patidar by his head coach, Andy Flower.

31-year-old Patidar right-handed batsman from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, has into the RCB setup since 2021. Over the years, he has increasingly proven to be a big player for the franchise. This figure comprises one hundred and seven half-centuries and a personal best score of 112 not out.
