India A Probable Squad For The Australia A Tour | Reports: India A is scheduled to play against Australia A in a series, with Ruturaj Gaikwad probably taking the captain’s responsibility. The team is a mix of both young talents and some veterans who have performed well in international matches. The opening contest is scheduled to be held at the Great Barrier Reef Arena, Mackay, from October 31st to November 3rd, and the subsequent one will be at the MCG from November 7th to 10th.
The tour will definitely be beneficial for the likes of Sudharsan, Reddy, and others, as they will get an opportunity to showcase their skills before moving on to bigger challenges.
India A’s team squad depicts age and youth, and the likes of Saini and Khaleel will certainly provide them that much-needed exposure at the international level in the bowling section. The series is expected to be a healthy competition, with both teams trying to give their players optimal match exposure.
India A is expected to look at this tour as another way to soften the team for the national side instead of just concluding the tour. This means players will get opportunities to play against Australia A and try to impress the selectors for places in the senior team. These matches will be followed by a practice match with the India team. Then the Border Gavaskar Trophy starts on 22nd November.
