Sanju Samson Becomes Co-Owner Of A Football Club In Super League Kerala: Indian cricketer Sanju Samson has broadened his sports horizons by becoming the co-owner of the Malappuram Football Club, which is partaking in the inaugural season of Super League Kerala.

Six teams from across the state vying to rejuvenate Keralite Soccer heritage are involved in this new league that started on 7th September 2024. With immense popularity among Kerala’s sports lovers, Sanju is expected to take the club’s ranking to another level.

Samson has shown sustained interest in association football, such that he often participates in such matches during his time off cricket. His choice to co-own Malappuram FC not only proceeds out of their love for this game but also emphasizes a need for rewarding the region, given his involvement in cricket, which lacks modernized stadia. Thus, Sanju hopes that it will help homegrown players and promote it all over the state.

Malappuram FC recorded an impressive debut when they beat Forca Kochi FC 2-0 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Kochi during their first game played under this league structure. Fans were amazed by the displays given by both Pedro Manzi and Faslurahman, who scored goals, thereby marking this team as one with potential within its class.

Consequently, through ongoing matches in Kerala Super League season five, Malappuram FC can ramp up even more ambiguity because Sanju collaborates with them away from the pitch as well as on the pitch.
