T20 World Cup 2024: Teams, Groups, Captains And Head Coach List. ICC announced the T20 World Cup 2024 schedule on January 5. The tournament will start on June 2nd with the clash between host USA and Canada. A total of 3 venues in the USA and 6 in the West Indies will be used for the ninth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
20 teams have been divided into 4 groups. Team India will start their campaign against Ireland on June 5. Arch rivals India and Pakistan have been placed in Group A. They will face each other on June 9 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York.
Forty-one matches will be played in the Caribbean across six different venues. The semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2024 are scheduled on June 26 and 27 with the semi-finals in Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana, and the final to be played in Barbados on 29 June.
