Mason Holgate is set to spend the season again at West Brom after the Albion secured a loan deal with Everton. His contract with Sean Dyche’s team expires in June 2025. Holgate played with West Brom in 2019 and will bolster the team again. He hopes to be part of Albion for good.
Holgate, 27, hasn’t progressed much with Everton. Now, he is looking forward to peaking his career with West Brom. The center-back wants to be the adoration of fans once again. Holgate believes they are up for a great season. About his return to Brom, the footballer said he has had the most fun playing with them.
Holgate shared that he tried to come back to Albion a few times, but hasn’t been able to due to one reason or another. And now, it has happened all so fast. He acknowledged that it’s always hectic with the deadline.

Carlos Corberan, Head Coach of West Brom, heartedly welcomed Holgate. He lauded the footballer for his maturity and quality games. Corberan, 41, believes Holgate will strengthen the team’s defense as a right-back and center-back. Andrew Nestor, Bilkul Football Group CEO and Sporting Director, also lauded Holgate as an experienced player who ups the team’s defense.
West Brom has also signed Mikey Johnson from Celtic for £3 million. He was earlier on a loan at Albion during last season’s second half. West Brom will make the most of the season with a deep, versatile and well-rounded team.
