UEFA Euros 2024 Qualifying: Teams And Upcoming Matches Predictions. The UEFA Qualifying 2024 tournament determines the 23 teams which along with the host participate in the Euro Championships 2024. Germany will receive a direct qualification to the Euros 2024 by being the host. The tournament consists of the top two teams from each group qualifying for Euro 2024 and some of the other teams will participate in a play-off connected to the UEFA Nations League 2022-23.
As of October 2023, eight rounds of matches are completed in the EUROs Qualifying. A total of 9 teams have qualified for the main tournament.

Match Predictions of Upcoming Qualifying Matches 2024
England VS Malta: 17th November 2023
It will be more or less a formality game as England has already qualified for the EUROs championship and secured the group topper position. On the other hand, Malta is out of recognition as they are languishing last in the group. Gareth Southgate will not change too much with England’s starting 11 as he looks to fine-tune the strategy for the Euros. Expect England to dominate the game and win the game pretty easily.

Portugal VS Lichtenstein: 16th November 2023
Another game will be low on substance as Portugal has already secured their place for the Euros 2024. Whereas, Lichtenstein is out of contention and is bottom-ranked in the group. The Portugal team is in fine form and has not lost a game since the quarter-final loss against Morocco in Qatar. Cristiano Ronaldo has been in decent goal-scoring form and fans would expect him to continue his form. Lichtenstein can pat themselves if they manage to eke out a draw.

Netherlands VS Ireland: 18th November 2023
Both these teams will face off in a fiercely contested battle as the race for the final spot of Group B heats up. The Netherlands are sitting pretty in 2nd position but Ireland is not too far behind them. A draw would be enough for the Dutch to qualify. However, if they lose, it can spice up the group and we will have to wait till the last matchday to see the second qualifier from the group.

Italy VS North Macedonia: 17th November 2023
Probably the biggest game on Matchday 9, Italy meets North Macedonia in a must-win battle. North Macedonia are already out of the reckoning and they will be quite eager to spoil Italy’s party. Italy is currently in 3rd place, behind Ukraine, but they have one extra game to play. Like any other country, Italy does not want to be known as the first defending champions to fail to qualify for the championships. Italy must improve and carry out its plans against a weaker opponent to secure direct qualification.

Croatia VS Latvia
The World Cup semi-finalist and UEFA Nations League finalist are in a bit of a spot. They face Latvia which is the lowest-ranked team in the group. Croatia needs a win to get clear of Wales and secure the second spot in the group and direct qualification. The onus will again be on the ever-reliable midfield of Croatia to bail the team out. However, they need to be quite cautious from the set pieces opportunities that come Latvia’s way. This is because Lavia is quite dangerous when it comes to scoring from set pieces.
