Updated WTC 2025 Points Table After IND vs AUS 4th Test Match: Australia’s 184-run victory over India in the fourth test match at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) has pronounced effects on the points table of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC). Australia has overtaken India now by 8.68 percentage points, thereby making it more certain that they will make the WTC finals.

At present, Australia’s 2025 WTC points tally stands at 118 points, with a percentage of 61.46, and it is in second place in the table. India has dropped to third place after having done away with the rest, with 114 points and a percentage of 52.78. The lead of the table remains with South Africa, who have 88 points at a percentage of 66.67.

The chances of India making it to the WTC final are low, as this cycle only has one Test match left. On the other hand, Australia is edging closer to its second consecutive WTC final appearance.
