Updated WTC Points Table After IND vs NZ 1st Test Match; India Is On Top: The outcome of the recently completed first Test between India vs New Zealand has brought considerable alterations in the ongoing World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 points table. After the exceptional win of New Zealand by 8 wickets, India, who was sitting merrily in the first position of the table, has been questioned, as they also faced the ignominy of being the first team to get bowled out for the lowest runs in their first innings at 46, their lowest score ever at home in a Test match.

With this win, New Zealand have lifted themselves in the table, gaining important points that help their cause in the WTC 2025 standing. Even though India’s position was on the table at the lead, this loss has taken some of their points, contributing significantly to making them exposed in the contest.
