The way for India to reach the WTC final is rather difficult and relies heavily on the outcome of the two remaining Tests and what happens in other currently ongoing series. If, with the two tests left, they manage to get a win in both events, then their PCT goes up into the high sixties, approximately to 60.52%—a significant push towards qualification. Yet, if India goes on with only one victory and a draw, their eventual PCT would be around 57.01%, for which they would be dependent on several other results. On the other hand, their consistent performances keep Australia still in contention for a place in the final.
