Virat Kohli Ranked Ninth Highest Paid Athlete In The World| Statista: Virat Kohli now stands shoulder to shoulder with popular sporting personalities like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and LeBron James in this world of high-paying sportsmen. Virat Kohli is among the nine highest-earning athletes around the world between September 1, 2023, and September 1, 2024. According to Statista, his estimated income is ₹847 crores (approximately 113 million US dollars). 

The first place belongs to Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo with an income of ₹2081 crore; next is golfer Jon Rahm, who earned ₹1712 crore; and then it is Argentine star Lionel Messi, who earned around 1074 crore rupees.

Moreover, other great players who are also on this list are NBA superstar LeBron James (₹990 crore), Kylian Mbappe from France (₹881 crore), as well as basketball player Giannis Antetokounmpo (₹873 crore). Neymar and Karim Benzema came just above Kohli, earning ₹864 crore each.
