WPL 2025: Checkout The Latest Points Table & Standings: The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 started with the clash between defending champion RCB and Gujarat Giants. RCB beat GG by 6 wickets in the highest successful run chase. It’s a round-robin tournament in which each team has a match against every other team to earn points for playoff qualification. At the end of the league stage, the top team will proceed to the final, while the second and third ones will clash to secure a berth in the other half.

The points system worked out for WPL 2025 is simple yet effective enough to rank the teams through the tournament. For a win, each team will earn two points, while no result or a tie will award one point each to both teams. Losses naturally do not get points. If two or more teams end up with the same points, net run rate (NRR) will be used. This points system makes the league competitive and just, wherein every game matters in qualifying for the playoff stage.
