Chasing 124 runs, the openers laid a solid base with a partnership of 90 runs. Meg Lanning top-scored with a blistering 60 off 49 balls, hitting 11 fours and 2 sixes. With her aggressive batting, DC kept the required run rate under control. After captain Lanning, Shefali Verma (43*) and Jemimah Rodrigues (15*) carried the team home in just 14.3 overs.
