WTC 2023-25 Points Table Updated (India On Top) After England vs West Indies 3rd Test Match. England secured a commanding 10-wicket victory over the West Indies in the third Test match in Birmingham on Sunday, July 28. Mark Wood took an impressive five-wicket haul, bowling out the West Indies for 175 runs. Then, in the second session of Day 3 at Edgbaston, Ben Stokes hit an unbeaten fifty, helping England chase down the target in just 7.2 overs.

Day 3 at 33/2 was a real challenge for the West Indies as they could not score a significant total regardless of the individual fifties scored by Mikyle Louis and Kavem Hodge. Mark Wood was superb in the first session, taking five wickets, while Gus Atkinson wrapped up his debut series with figures of 2 for 28.

Captain Ben Stokes initiated the innings himself at the top of the order to reach the target of 82 runs. He played an extraordinary innings of 55 not out off only 28 balls, which included 10 fours and 1 six, thereby leading the charge by himself.

His aggressive style of play rendered the West Indies bowlers ineffective, and England easily achieved the target in just 7.2 overs. However, duckett ensured that no wickets were lost as England completed the match and the series with a commanding performance.
